Robert Wolfhram was born in the small Imperial city of Seawall. A community comprised of mostly humans with the occasional Dwarf, Elf, or Gnome trying to ply a craft or peddle wares in the streets, Seawall was a simple place with simple tastes and an easy lifestyle. In Seawall Robert grew up; was given a world class education; and learned to shoot, this final skill serving him well when he leaves Seawall to join the Imperial Navy to become part of an elite squadron of snipers. He eventually married, settled down and had 4 lovely children. He was also killed in the line of duty, defending his precious Seawall, musket in hand.
So why is it now that a man named Lockon Stratos with an incredible resemblance to Robert Wolfhram is being spotted aboard pirate ships all across the globe? Why is it that the Imperial Navy is being tormented with dead officer after dead officer? Why is it that this man, this Lockon Stratos is killing without remorse?
It is true that Lockon Stratos is Robert Wolfhram as so many in the Imperial Navy suspect. It is also true that Lockon is on the warpath with the Imperial navy, but why would a man who devoted his life to the line of duty be killing those whom he once stood shoulder to shoulder with? It was stated earlier that Robert Wolfhram was killed in the line of duty, and this is true. The man who was once the proud Left Tenant was slain not physically, but metaphorically by the betrayal of a man whom he devoted his life to: Captain Jackson Daniels.
So where would we find the answer to how he was betrayed? We look to his scar and missing eye, signs of conspiracy as deep as the pockets of the Emperor himself. A tale of death; a tale of explosions and gunpowder; of men fighting for their very lives and a tale that shall not be told today. For the sniper himself barely remembers it, buried beneath night after night of ale and hard liquor, squandering the riches he had manage to acquire from his military career and family fortune.
It is a dark night, and the sniper is in his favorite bar when a group of men barge in… though he may not remember much, the sight of an Imperial Navy coat sparks him to life, and he remembers… and with the memories, come a need for vengeance.
